When we arrived at 7:30am it was a bit foggy and cloudy with the winds out of the west at about 8 - 10 mph. Too much for the trike. After about 5 minutes the trike was unattached and I was ready to foot launch.

The clouds started to burn off and Andy was the first to take off, followed
shortly my me. I think there were 7 of us all together. The cloud base
was still thick but had some holes in it. A few of us ventured up to
about 2200 feet. The clouds were at about 1500 ft. or so. It was
really smooth up high, and I got some great stills. I had to land and
load up the video equipment.

Everyone decided to go right back up again before the clouds burnt off. I rolled video for about 35 minutes and got some great footage of several wingnuts above the clouds. Very cool indeed.
