I got a call last week from Fox reporter Ned Hibberd. It seems he saw one of the ITW promo stickers that sports the picture from our poster and has the website address. I've been sticking these up all over town and as luck would have it, Ned was standing at a urinal taking care of business, and looked over at the wall beside him. Yep, there was the ITW sticker. The image caught his eye and he was able to remember the website to check it out. He liked what he saw and thought it would make a good story.
Ned, along with cameraman Chuck arranged to meet me at an LZ close to my house on Wednesday Jan. 25. I asked Andy to come out with his rig so we could both fly for the piece. Dave was also on hand with the new HD cam to tape them taping us. Andy had some motor problems and didn't get to go up but was able to direct me from the ground on the radio to get the shots they wanted. We then went back to the home studio where they continued the shoot, asking questions about the movie, edit software, and other details.
The story will air in the next couple of weeks. When they give me the date I'll post it. We'll DVR the piece and post it on the website also.
